Italy passes agrophotovoltaic decree to allocate more than 1 billion euros

According to ANSA, Vannia Gava, Deputy Minister of the Italian Ministry of Environment and Energy Security, announced that the agrophotovoltaic decree has been officially approved.


Under the decree, the government will allocate more than €1 billion in Recovery and Resilience Program (PNRR) funds to build clean energy systems on agricultural land, with the goal of installing at least 1.04 GW by June 30, 2026.
