Brazil: Photovoltaic installed capacity exceeds 35GW, 70% distributed

According to statistics from the Brazilian Solar Energy Association ABSOLAR, Brazil's installed solar power generation capacity has exceeded 35GW, of which distributed 24.4GW, accounting for 70%, and centralized 10.6GW, accounting for 30%.

Currently, Brazil's total installed power generation capacity is 219.73GW, of which solar energy accounts for 15.6%, second only to hydropower with an installed capacity of 110GW.


It is reported that there are currently 8 solar photovoltaic module manufacturers in Brazil, as well as 9 solar tracking brackets and 10 photovoltaic inverter manufacturers.
